Terms of Service

Our Trove is for adults, parents, caregivers, and trusted family members managing private household catalogs. It is not directed to children. Children should not create accounts or submit information directly to the service.

If you create or manage a household, you are responsible for the catalog content you add and for the people you invite.

• Our Trove uses email magic links instead of passwords.
• Keep access to your email account secure because sign-in links grant access to your Our Trove account.
• Household owners can create, edit, and delete catalog content, manage invite links, and manage household members.
• Viewers can search and view a catalog but do not receive owner controls.

You keep ownership of the household content you add, including item names, notes, metadata, and photos. You give Our Trove permission to host, process, resize, display, and transmit that content as needed to operate the service, provide search, show photos, generate enabled suggestions, and make the catalog available to household members.

Do not upload content you do not have the right to use, content that violates someone else's privacy, or content that is unlawful, abusive, exploitative, or unsafe.

Household owners are responsible for the accuracy of their catalog, the content they upload, the people they invite, and any decisions made using the catalog. Our Trove helps with duplicate checks, but it does not guarantee that a catalog is complete, current, or error-free.

Keep your own backup of important household records. Our Trove is not intended to be the only copy of information you cannot afford to lose.

Our privacy practices are described in the Privacy Policy. Our core posture is simple: no ads, no selling data, and a private household catalog by default.

Our Trove may offer AI photo suggestions, barcode lookup, book metadata, or other helper features. These features can be incomplete or wrong. You are responsible for reviewing suggestions before relying on them or saving them to your catalog.

Our Trove may offer Free, Plus, Founder, or other paid plans. Plan limits and prices are shown in the app, on landing pages, or at checkout. If paid checkout is enabled, billing is handled by a payment processor, and their terms may also apply.

You can stop using the service at any time. For account deletion, household deletion, or export requests while self-serve tools are not available, contact support@ourtrove.app.

• Do not try to access another household without permission.
• Do not share invite links with people who should not have access.
• Do not interfere with, scrape, overload, or reverse engineer the service.
• Do not use Our Trove for unlawful, harmful, or abusive activity.
• Do not upload malware or content designed to damage the service.

We may suspend or terminate access to Our Trove if we reasonably believe an account, household, invite link, or piece of content violates these terms, creates legal or security risk, harms other users, or threatens the reliability of the service.

To the extent allowed by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Our Trove and its operators from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your content, your invites, your misuse of the service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of someone else's rights.

Our Trove is an early product and will change. We may add, change, or remove features, limits, plans, or integrations. We work to keep the service reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every feature will always work on every device or network.

Our Trove is provided as is and as available. To the extent allowed by law, we disclaim implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the extent allowed by law, Our Trove will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or substitute services.
